What to Expect

Is it really that intense?
Yes, but in the best way. Resistance is fully adjustable so intensity scales to your level. You won't be jumping or pounding joints, but your muscles will be working the entire 45 minutes. Most members say it's the hardest they've worked while still protecting their body.
Do I need experience to take a class?
None needed. Our classes welcome all fitness levels. The XFormer looks intimidating but our instructors walk you through everything from your very first session. We also offer intro and beginner classes if you'd like to ease in.
What is the XFormer machine?
The XFormer is x2o's signature Pilates reformer-style machine. It uses a spring resistance system to engage your entire body through slow, precise movements, delivering a high-intensity workout without impact on your joints or spine.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable workout clothes and grip socks are required; they keep you safe on the machine. We carry ToeSox grip socks in studio if you need a pair. Bring water and show up ready to sweat.
How early should I arrive for my first class?
Plan to arrive 10 minutes early. We'll introduce you to the XFormer, walk through our method, and ask about any injuries or goals. It makes a real difference in your first session.
How do I book my first class?
Create an account online or through the x2o Studio app, buy your first class or intro pack, then pick a spot on the schedule. You'll get an email confirmation after booking.
